Gayle Mauldin

Gayle was born in Pasadena, Texas and has lived in Texas, France,
Maine, central and southern California, Vallejo, San Francisco and now
Pleasant Hill in the east bay.

She has a background in graphics and print production and was
co-owner of a prepress/graphics business,
DC Typography, Inc., for
almost 20 years. She's happy to have traded the stress and insecurity
of small business ownership for the relative peace of her present job
as office manager for SESCO.

Gayle and her late husband, Al Gordon, and their two children,
Michael and Julia, lived in San Francisco for many years. Al died in
2001 from a brain tumor; he is still missed sorely by those who knew
and loved him. However, several years after Al's death, fate
presented a gift to Gayle, in the form of
Ira Janowitz, her present
partner in life, and his young adult daughter, Laura.

Gayle believes that more love was, is, and will always be the answer
to the world's problems. That's why she admires people who have
chosen to spend their lives in the unselfish pursuit of health and
well-being for others in the communities of the world.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, movies from Netflix, hiking, and
gardening. She also enjoys spending as much time as she can with her
children and with Ira.
